Audit your online presence. The first thing any host will do when you apply, is Google you. Make sure your site (if you have one) is up-to-date and/or social media channels.

Have to hand the following:
– Head-shot (hi-resolution jpg/png)
– Bio
– Links to your social media accounts
– How will the listeners benefit from hearing you (what will you teach them)
– Your gift for the listeners/ CTA (optional)

If you’re asked if you will share your episode when it goes live with your audience, of course, the answer is yes.

Know who your audience consists of – your email list, followers you might have on Medium, for example, and your social media following.

If you’re just starting out and don’t have a sizeable audience, no worries. It’s helpful if you have a decent audience, but we will focus on the value you are going to bring to the podcast.
